You are so welcome here.
My name is Tess, and I am a twenty-something located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
I’m a world traveler, a spiritual student, and a dreamer. This blog is my space turned yours for art, poetry, and all things growth.
It’s so good to meet you.
Some words that describe me? Conscious. Student. Dreamer. Adventurer. Minimalist. Traveller. Musician. Artist. Messy.
I began living consciously from the womb. I live without being tied down: travel and movement guide my life.
Essentially, I live my life connected to and by the universe, all living things, and my heart. I believe in the sacred energy that is housed in each of us, and that we get the incredible opportunity to draw from that. I also believe we have an equally sacred responsibility to this world to care for it, and all the creatures that inhabit it.
On this blog, you’ll find some words about travel, wellness, ethical living, and a whole lot of honesty. I don’t really believe in sugarcoating shit, so consider yourself warned 😉
What is ethical or conscious living?
Ethical living can mean what you want it to mean. It means, basically, not living on autopilot. For me, that means living with constant knowledge of the sacred world around me. It means living by principles of non-violence: in my food, my clothing, my interactions with others. It means living true to myself–listening to my heart, soul, and mind before allowing others’ opinions to infiltrate my ideas and personal callings.
That looks like artistic expression, endless learning, intentional travel and exploration.
“Ethical living” might mean something totally different to you, and that’s okay.
Why am I writing?
I’m glad you asked. I’ve found that, through my personal experiences with ethical, conscious living, that others are curious, too. They just don’t know where to begin.
That’s where you and I come in.
I am here to help bring you along your own journey of spirituality, consciousness, intentionality… whatever you want to call it, whatever that looks like for you. Along the way, I bring my experiences abroad and domestic, my fuck-ups and challenges, my messes and my solutions. I hope you’ll contribute to this space–let’s curate something wonderful together.
